Clean up, minimize & donate stuff you don’t need

Are you already a fan of Tidying Up By Marie Kondo? Maybe you read the books or you are watching the serie on Netflix. Or perhaps you started a January cleanse in your home? If so, you might feel the urge and happiness to clean up, sort out and say goodbye to a lot of stuff. As Marie Kondo believes, minimalistic living brings happiness.
But whether you are currently in the mood to tidy-up or not, it’s always good to think of a second-chance for your goods. I like to provide you with a list of goods that take up a lot of space, are most certainly used not-so-often, but are perfect donations. By donating, you create space and clean up, while you help others. Thats a win-win-win!
Think of donating the following goods to homeless shelters, help refugees organizations (Calais, Dunkerque, Lesbos) or local clothing-banks and collecting points:
- Blankets or (fleece) plaids
- Duvets
- Sleeping bags
- Sleeping mats
- Towels
- Winter coats and jackets
- Wind-jackets
- Fleece-sweats
- Knitted pulls
- Thermo clothing, ski-clothing
- Warm shoes such as moonboots or snowboots
- Warm socks – especially socks for skiing or hiking
- Warm pants, tights or panties to payer
- Scarves
- Hats
- Warm gloves, mittens
- Tents

Lets tidy-up, donate the things that we don’t need and help others while enjoying your own happy clean living!
