3 TIPS for the most valuable donations for (most) countries in Africa🤝🌍:

1. Knowledge - teach them something new and they can grow the community by teaching others teacher 👩‍🏫
2. Money - as it is the most important thing to grow a countries economy and to make things happen 💰
3. Products - there are simply things you can't buy there, so it's good to bring and donate them. But always consider stimulating their economy first 🛒

Another thing that I’ve learned besides the top 3 donations: give LOVE & SUPPORT - it's always of incredible value💖🤝

My biggest possess: My Wardobe🧡👡

Since I’ve been working in the fashion industry for the past 10 years and I have a BIG love for retail therapy, my biggest possess became my wardrobe🧡 I sincerely love my clothes, even though it sounds so pathetic. But fashion is truly my joy. And it has been my profession for a long time. I am so proud of my collection of pretty garments, fashion pieces and timeless key-items🥰

BUT; With the vision (and life-credo) of “Every single effort, big or small, helps in making a difference💭” I will open up a closet sale on @vinted to sell a part of my clothes. There is Scotch&Soda, Love Stories, O’moda and many more.
All sales will be donated to charity⚡️ Good to know: I will frequently go through my closet again and update the shop with new items, so feel free to save and follow my account on @vinted More items are coming🧡 Link in bio!

well, I’m serious in my business, when it comes to making an impact!
But on projects, I believe fun and happiness should be the main ingrediënt🧂, right?

Looking back to my Kenya trip🇰🇪, I am so tha

Looking back to my Kenya trip🇰🇪, I am so thankful for all the experiences I got from joining this project. So many personal learnings, new things that I've seen, experiences that I got. Going to Kenya, you step into an entirely different world💫

It has been mind-blowing to learn values from the kids in school in Kenya: for them everything is about 'us' instead of 'I.' Their inclusivity, caring for each other and caring for the community is such an important life lesson for all of us here. Their warmth towards each other is of another kind💛
Their happiness for the smallest things in so inspiring and contagious🔥 I think back of the moments I handed out a pencil and made a photo: even though they have little (and way less than our standards) they were all so happy and thankful😃
Happiness, curiousity and spontantious joy really describes the attitude of the kids and I wish I (and all of you) could be surrounded by it all the time!

It has been incredible to see how we can create a difference with educating and highlighting the importance of brushing your teeth in school. The effects? Since two years no kid has been absent from school due to tooth-ache or caries, every kid brushes its’ teeth at least once a day (in school) and every single kid knows the brushing-technique, by education through a song. THTF works with local health-officers to maintain the education in school. I really hope this incredible work continous and receives the support it needs to do even more in the future💫

This trip changed me and I can recommend anyone to do such trip to experience these lessons for themselves, stepping out of our own bubble for a bit💖💖💖

I spotted this magical baby giraffe during my safari in Tsavo East National Park. Unfortunately, Giraffes are threatened in Kenya by:

🦒Less suitable habitat (due to agriculture)
🦒Climate change (and increase of desertification due to droughts, bushfires and reduced food availability)
🦒Poaching (for meat, bones and tail-hair mainly)
🦒Predation (by carnivores)
🦒Diseases
🦒The risk of international trade of giraffes

I really want to see this magical animal in my future and I hope you can see it to on your future safari, therefore I support The Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) @giraffe_conservation who is dedicated to maintain sustainable giraffe populations by conservation throughout Africa🌍 Maybe you would be interested too✨
