Good morning dear followers. Wishing you all a happy Wednesday!
As I am further planning my trip to Zambia & Malawi I came to consider what I personally can give to change things for the better. Because I believe you can always help and you can always give. What do you have to give? And what do you like to give out to others? I came to the conclusion that giving isn’t necessarily hard to do, but it is easiest to give if you have plenty of it. This way you give it with joy and it’s valuable for those who receive it.
And giving can be things (money, food, clothes etc), but also emotional giving. And emotional giving isn’t endless, but we can go a looong way with what we have. Think of giving hope, giving love, giving attention, giving knowledge and giving energy. If you feel good, you have plenty to give.
And the good thing about giving what you have plenty of? You GET a lot in return to. If you give love, you get love and appreciation in return. If you give energy, you most likely receive energy in return and so on.
The things I can give away and have endless amounts of:
This list will be added, I am sure.
Of all the things I own (not so much, I try to live minimalistic), I have mostly clothes to give or to share. And I decided that I will do that as much as I can. I will give and share clothes more with friends to avoid a single-use mentality on clothing.
Next to that, I decided to clean out my closet and organize a big closet-sale at home! I will sell lots of clothes, shoes and accessories from various brands and all sales will be donated for projects in Zambia & Malawi.
It will be a true girls-event with pink drinks, chocolate and cake all day! I fill my home with racks full of dresses and tops and there will be music and candles. A true home-shop vibeee! Can’t wait:)
Would you be interested to come as well? Please leave me a DM or a comment below, and I’ll make sure to invite you for the event.
